Rather than trying to describe
our own music we offer the following comments from various street press
about us:
"Those at the Gypsy Bar were in for two great rock'n'roll performances as Ice Cream Headache and Eva Trout both went off. Ice Cream Headache was up first, and if the sound check was anything to go by, it was going to be a dynamic performance. The band demonstrated a great ability to play a wide range of styles. They highlighted tracks from their debut album and some new tracks, 'Gone Too Far', 'Faces and Voices', 'Stronger' and 'The More Things Change' were stand out cuts. The band indicated that they were ready to start recording a new album and it will be eagerly awaited." BMA, July 2000"Ice Cream Headache is one of the most unpretentious bands on the block." City Extra, Sept 99
"Webster & local three-piece Ice Cream Headache kicked off the evening with their brands of Indie rock. Ice Cream Headache played well with their singer sounding like the singer from Live." BMA May 98
"Ice Cream Headache are hard to pin down. They write decent pop songs wit a lot of variation… Something tells me that although their songs are light-hearted it’s a thin veil disguising a deeper meaning." BMA, June 97
"An awesome pop sound introduced Ice Cream Headache, hoisting an upbeat feel with the beautiful song "Cinnamon Sweet". Gig review, BMA June 98
"The diversity of the album is what makes it so masterful…The band is adept at writing sure fire pop classics… Clocking in at under 45 minutes, Ice Cream Headache have produced a highly listenable and cohesive effort for their first foray into the recorded realm. Anyone who has ever seen the band would know that they are passionate performers who love what they do and this album is merely an extension of that. Buy it and tape it for the car!" Album review, BMA Oct 98
